GOVERNANCE

Mammoth Lakes Recreation (MLR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to enhance and create premier cultural and recreational opportunities in the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra.

As the body charged with making recommendations to Town Council with regard to expenditure and leveraging of Measure R and U funds, MLR operates in accordance to California’s Brown Act.

The public may view live and achieved streams of MLR Board and Committee meetings on the Town of Mammoth Lakes’ Meetings Page.

MLR BOARD OF DIRECTORS


The MLR Board meets on the first Tuesday of every ODD month (January, March, etc.)

MAMMOTH TRAILS COMMITTEE


The Mammoth Trails Committee (MTC), a sub-committee of Mammoth Lakes Recreation, provides program and fiscal oversight for the Mammoth Lakes Trail System (MLTS). The MTC provides direction and recommendations for the continuation, prioritization, implementation, and design of programs and services for the MLTS.

The Mammoth Trails Committee meets on the second Thursday of EVEN months (February, April, etc.)

MAMMOTH TRAILS


Mammoth Trails is a collaborative group effort to create and enhance outdoor recreation for our community, effectively and inclusively. As partners, allies and friends, Mammoth Trails offers the entire outdoor recreation community a space to share and discover local and regional happenings.

Mammoth Trails meetings are typically in the Spring and Fall of each year.
