VOLUNTEER WITH MLR!

Thank You for Protecting Our Home Year After Year!

Stewardship Program Volunteer Renewals Open in January

We’re gearing up for another year of caring for the places we love.

From keeping trails clear with the Eastern Sierra Adopt A Trail program to keeping our local waterways pristine with the Tangle Free Waters program - your commitment helps protect the Eastern Sierra for everyone who explores it.

Your stewardship efforts keep our trails walkable, our lakes clean, and our outdoor experiences inspiring. We’re grateful for your partnership and can’t wait to kick off another year together.

Why Renew?

  • Support healthy forests, meadows, and lake ecosystems

  • Stay connected with our stewardship community

  • Participate in planning routes, organizing supplies, and training for the year

  • Keep your adopted location

  • Make a meaningful impact on the landscapes that make the Eastern Sierra special

  • Help us maintain consistency across trail systems, fishing sites, and lakefront access points.

Watch for the Sign-Up Announcement

Whether you’re part of Eastern Sierra Adopt-a-Trail, Tangle Free Waters, or both - January is your chance to secure your spot for the 2026 season.

Facilities that are not renewed by 1/31/26 will become open for adoption.

We’ll share renewal instructions the first week of January; expect an email with the direct link.
