BISHOP CREEK - INTAKE 2
Bishop Creek - Intake 2 is a small, dam-created lake along Bishop Creek located just 16 miles west of Bishop and easily accessible from CA-168, just after the South Lake cutoff. Stocked with Rainbow Trout by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), which compliments the healthy resident population of Brown Trout, anglers of all experience levels have the opportunity to catch a trophy size trout.
Surrounded by the front range mountains that dominate the Bishop area skyline; with a nearby campground, unbeatable accessibility, and excellent fishing, Intake 2 is a must-fish spot in the Eastern Sierra.
