PRESERVING EASTERN SIERRA WATERWAYS
CHEERS - YOU FOUND US!
We’ll help you keep your beverage cold; you help ensure that our amazing Eastern Sierra waterways are preserved for future generations with the Tangle Free Waters program.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Great question! It’s easy, all you have to do is deposit your discarded monofilament fishing line in any of the Tangle Free Waters deposit stations located at the most popular fishing spots throughout Mono County. Our handy-dandy Deposit Station Locator Tool makes it easy to find one.
The Tangle Free Waters program will then send off that monofilament line to be recycled instead of it ending up in our waterways and landfills; creating issues for the local birds, fish, and other wildlife.
